It is May 2012, one month after the battle with Loki in New York City which took place on April 11, 2012. All of The Avengers went their separate ways for a much needed break.
Bruce went back to the village he had been living in, continuing his humanitarian work.
Tony stayed in New York, rebuilding Stark Tower, converting it into Avengers Tower with Pepper.
Clint and Natasha both went off the grid, Clint trying to sleep through the nightmares of Loki’s infiltration upon his thoughts.
Thor took Loki back to Asgard where Loki has been imprisoned and Thor has claimed his rightful place as King.
Steve spent his month off trying to become more accustomed to the new changes in the world, renting an apartment and surfing the internet.
All of The Avengers are now back at SHIELDs base in New York City, New York upon Fury’s call. They had thought there job was over, but the Avengers Initiative is just beginning. All of The Avengers are settling into their place at SHIELD, having decided to stay and defend all of Earth against such villains as Loki.
Congratulations on enrolling in Shield University! Here, you’ll make new friends, and some enemies. You’ll learn in the best facilities in the country, and train for specialties that will come in handy for your upcoming assignments. Even though everyone here at Shield University is special, to say the least, they’re all still just young adults. So, alongside the super strength, ability to fly, IQ’s higher than 200, rage monsters, and assassins trained from childhood there’s drama, break-ups, make-ups, hormones and the ever present nightmare of waking up and going to class. College is hard enough, are you sure you can survive this one?
But Roleplay begins tomorrow. Please make sure that you are using the correct form of posts, tagging your pictures and music as “private” and cutting your posts to keep the dash from clogging! Take a look at this post for more detail.

- This is a para based roleplay group, however there will be multiple waves of communitcation.
Paras
This is a two+ paragraph piece of writing written in the third person, in character. Dialog and actions will be exchanged between those withing the para. Paras are considered “private” and no other character is aware of what takes place within a para other than the ones directly involved. Reblog paras as text and keep the posts cut to two posts.Dash
Referring to gif convos, dash posts are public for everyone to see. The dashboard will be treated as a SHIELD social networking site therefore everything put on the dash is accessible by all characters except for paras, texts and posts submitted via message. If you do not wish for something to be seen by all (like a manip, song, picture etc.) then tag the post as “private” and it will be a private post. Make sure you avoid the little grey box when making dash posts and cut your posts to two posts each.To show that you’ve read the rules, please answer with your favorite marvel character at the end of your audition.Texts
Using the chat format, texts are sent between characters and cannot be seen by anyone other than the ones involved in the text message. Please cut your posts to two responses per post. Texts can easily be lost in the dash so it can be good to message the recipient to alert them that your character text their’s, sending them a link to the post so that they can respond when they see the message.Chatzy
Chatzy is used for events or paras taking place between more than three people. Chatzies can often be useful when paraing a high tension situation where the dialogue would be very back and forth or the actions are fast paced. After the chatzy is complete, it must be posted on the dash or it will not count toward the continuity. Clean up the post (remove all OOC talk and correct major errors) and write a summary of the chatzied events, posting the actual chatzy under a read more break for length purposes. It will be added to the thread timeline and treated as a para
To add uniformity, eliminate confusion and help with clarity, I’ll post some examples of what these should look like with screenshots from an old rp that I was in.
Paras
It has the title: “The Truth Comes Out || Todd and Colt” Every title should be in the format.
The name of the Para || The people involved.There are only two posts. When I went to reblog it, I reblogged it as text and I deleted my previous post. You MUST cut your posts. With a large group, the dash moves fast and it will be very difficult to get to replies if posts are not cut.
Dash
You wouldn’t tag gif conversations as “private” because they are the social network for everyone to see, but please remember that they are public. Do not say anything that you don’t want everyone on the dash to know. If your character needs to discuss something with another character privately, use a para or a text.
Texts
Title your texts as “Text || Name of person you are texting” always. Texts won’t have a name title. If you are texting Clint, but his name in your phone is Legolas (*cough* Tony *cough*) then have the title read “Text || Legolas”. Please note that ALL TEXTS ARE PRIVATE AND NO ONE ELSE CAN READ THEM. Your character will not know information that was privately discussed between two people in a text message or in a para.
Chatzy
Chatzys are always too long to screenshot, but when you use a chatzy you will enter the chat as your characters name and every time before you type, you will /me. So it will be like
/me wanted to tell her everything would be alright, but how could he when he knew it wasn’t true. “I know,” he whispered in defeat.
The actual post will look like:

when you copy and paste it into a tumblr post.
You will then post the entire chatzy conversation under a “read more” break and cut out any OOC talk that might have taken place. It will be posted on the dash and treated as para, meaning it will be added to the timeline and be seen as private.
IF YOU WANT SOMETHING TO GO DOWN AS HAPPENING YOU MUST POST IT ON THE DASH. Otherwise, it will NOT go down into the continuity.
